In Focus Careers May Issue: Connecting you to trends, people and ideas for the future

As students and teachers went on holidays and started to overcome the COVID disruption of Term 1, all West Australian universities opened their doors for 2023 applications on 4 April.

Career advisory services cranked up at universities, and course information sessions were run throughout the holidays.

Careers Week in WA kicks off in mid May with the Career Expo  followed by the Construction Futures Centre Open Day on the 17th May.

Notre Dame and Curtin universities have scheduled their Medicine Information Sessions for May and students who want to apply for medicine for 2023 need to apply for UCAT exams

Main Roads Jobs in the Bush

In an effort to return full time jobs to the bush, the Department of Main Roads is bringing road construction and maintenance back into the government. This will create over 600 jobs and 400 of those will be in the bush. 

Leaving School Early?

Going to TAFE might be an option for those who want to leave school early. Applications for Term 3 TAFE courses open in May.
