Spend more of your student life drinking coffee and less time serving it.
Finding ALL of the scholarships and financial support available to you as you leave school can be a full-time job.
I found these unusual ones:
- Jewellery designers
- Women into non-traditional trades
- Pinnacle Foundation Scholarships are for LGBTI 16 – 24-year-old students who need financial and practical support.
- Country local governments can get grants to employ a trainee
Most scholarships can be found in the Good Universities Guide.
- You can subscribe to a newsletter about WA university scholarships on scholarshippd.net.
- Check Nursing
- Check Youth Development
Apply in Year 12
Many scholarships need to be applied for during year 12.
The closing dates vary depending on the scholarship but many close in August or September.
Some scholarships require a personal statement and references which may take some time to compile.
