Bridging the Gap from School to ECU

ECU

  • The School of Business and Law is working to create networks with schools. A volunteer mentor scheme may be possible for your school.
  • Coderdojo groups at ECU can help your school to set up its own Dojo.
  • Short courses are run at ECU to coincide with work placement from some schools. Some of the courses can lead to VET credits.
  • ECU career advisors love going to schools to give presentations. Invite them to give a free talk at your school.
  • ECU has more information evenings and future student programs than any other Western Australian University.
  • ECU provides a 6 month FREE  UniPrep  program to students who do not meet the required ATAR or to people who haven’t studied for a long time. This can be done over 12 months part time.

Summer UniPrep

If you finished High School before 2016, you can apply for an intensive version of our general UniPrep course, run during the Summer break.

Last summer it was held at the Joondalup Campus from 30 November until 5 February 2016, and included a break from 24 December to 6 January.

Exams were held for most subjects during the first week of February, making it possible for students to successfully complete the course in time to start in Semester 1.
